Beyonce Uses Hypnosis Giving Birth (But Doesn’t Call It That)

Oprah had an interview with Beyonce on her network, OWN recently. They talked candidly    about everything going on in Beyonce’s life including her marriage to rapper Jay Z and her daughter Blue Ivy.

In talking about giving birth, Beyonce spoke of her solid focus on the energy she was sending to her baby as she passed through the birthing canal. No other thoughts, just the single thought of sending energy.

This, my friends is hypnosis. A focused state of attention. Simple yet powerful. This is all hypnosis, as a state of mind is.

It is s very powerful place to be and to know you have this power every moment is life changing. Imagine what you can do for yourself now that you know you can!

Whatever it is you are striving towards, narrow your attention to just that. Eliminate all outside influences, and of course the noise in your head. How do you do this? Focus.

You notice when people achieve things, or are on their way and people around then describe them as having tunnel vision?

They don’t allow any distractions and refuse to stop until they have completed what they set out to do. They don’t listen to the nay sayers because they are so focused.

This is how you can map out your plans, how you decide how to unfold your desires. Everything is doable in your mind. It is the outside influences that help us decide those things we want aren’t achievable.

Everyones dreams and goals in life are different. You wouldn’t have the dreams if you weren’t given the tools to go for them. We all don’t want to be a basketball player, or a real estate mogul. Of those that are, many of them went against great odds but they did it.

Quieting your mind until you get a pure, step by step vision of what you want and how you are going to get it is what will bring it to you. Once this is crystal clear and you feel it in every cell in your body, all the outside influence in the world isn’t going to stop you from getting it.

If it is easy for you to quiet your mind, this is something you may want to do until you feel no more resistance. You will know there is no more resistance when you begin going after what you want with no hesitation.

The other option to get these results is Hypnosis where you are guided through instructions  to the same results. It is easy and fast, and because time usually equals money, it is very affordable. The time you will save in your life dealing with this now and not once you have tried everything else, is truly priceless!

Happy Pain Free New Year! Yay for Hypnosis!

Pain serves a purpose. When we understand that pain is a good thing, and that pain is natures way of warning us something is wrong with our body, a shift in our perception occurs and  thus healing can occur.

When pain occurs in the body, one should consult their doctor. In good practice, a professional Hypnotherapist cannot and will not aid in the release of pain without first determining the cause. Hypnosis is not intended to take the place of medicine. Once you know what is wrong, you no longer need the pain.

The use of suggestion through Hypnosis  to alter sensory perception (the thought of pain) has become a mainstream form of mind body healing. What you focus on you create. This is true of anything including pain.

In Hypnosis, we are shifting our attention away from the pain. Taking the focus off the pain will allow for pain to be relieved.

Have you ever been in pain and instantly had your attention interrupted as a result of something going on around you? Or maybe watching an exciting movie, suddenly you realize you have not been affected by your pain?

This is what shifting your focus or attention can do. If you are a chronic headache sufferer this is good news!

By creating distractions and diversions in the midst of pain, will free yourself of it. Easier done if you catch pain when it starts. This will take discipline but how much is it worth to you to be pain free?

Welcome in this New Year knowing your brain has this kind of power. It just needs someone to turn the power on. If you don’t guide it in a new direction it will continue to sail in the direction it has always sailed.

Oh, a good idea may be to start a list of distractions you will use when/if pain reoccurs. This way it is much easier to do than thinking of something on the onset.

Here’s to a happy healthy pain free New Year!

Get The Results You Want Without Smoking Weed

In my last post, Anyone Want To Smoke A Joint With Me? I talked about drugs being used to change ones state. I offered a few natural state changers and here, I will offer more.

Please refer back to the previous post to get started.

http://www.freedigitalphotos.net

No matter what is going on for you, there have been great things happen in your life. You must be willing to change your perception of things and see things as they really are.

If the bank is after you because you defaulted on a loan, it is not the banks fault. You defaulted. They trusted you enough to lend you money and now they want it back. That was the deal.

The minute you own it, take responsibility and become accountable, the elephant on your shoulders jumps off. Being responsible simply means the ability to respond. Blaming others keeps you in victim mentality and well, that is just pitiful.

Remember a time when you were a child, and you did something that went against your parents wishes to the point you knew inside it would really hurt them?

Go back to that feeling of heaviness in your chest, on your shoulders and remember how you as a person changed with this baggage. I would bet money, how you reacted to things also changed.

Perhaps you became evasive, defensive, or conversely, overly joyous, pleasant, to try to hide, escape what you did.

Either way, you were not yourself.

Now, remember when you got busted. As much as the punishment may have been painful, it paled in comparison to the relief you felt getting that weight off your shoulders. I would also safely bet, the weight was instantly lifted the exact moment you got found out.

This example should leave you to conclude that facing reality is so much easier in the end, than running from it, hiding from it and covering it up.

I would like you to go to that feeling you had of relief. Notice your body relaxed, your breathing is no longer restricted and whatever other changes occur, including your thoughts.

Focus in on all the changes your body has made from the initial feeling of hiding something to this calm relaxed feeling.

This is one other way to change your state. Noticing in yourself what you do, how you hold your body, what you say to yourself when things aren’t good.

Doing the same now with things that are exactly as you want them. Feel the changes in your body, thoughts and posture.

The next time you begin feeling down and out, reflect back on the positive changes your body made/makes and mimmic them. It works every time!

So, if your breathing was full deep breaths, than breath the same way. If you stood straight, shoulders back, stand that way, while breathing full deep breaths. If you had a smile, do all three things at once, and so on.

This works and it works every time. Although there are many techniques, these are a really good start.

Now you see, you don’t need that bag of weed anymore to change how you feel. You can feel any way you want by going back to a time when you experienced it, and do what you did then.

As I mentioned in the last post, these techniques are used widely in Hypnosis. The only difference in doing it yourself is the willingness to take the time to focus and do the work yourself.

Hypnosis allows you to be guided, follow along and doing so while completely relaxed with little or no interference from your conscious mind, which makes the process much simpler and quicker.

Please leave me a comment on how this worked for you, I would love to hear!

Does Your Day Suck So Far?

Have you ever experienced a day(s) where everything goes wrong from the moment you wake up? Maybe it started because you woke up late. Then rushing out of bed you tripped and stubbed your toe. Someone closed the bathroom door on your finger, spilled your coffee on your white pressed shirt, can’t find your keys, and low and behold it snowed last night and you have a foot of snow to shovel.

You are frustrated. This frustration creates more mishaps until you are tripping over your own feet. You know how it goes, ‘It’s gonna be one of those days.’

But does it have to be? Is it necessary to convince yourself that because of a few fumbles you need to quit the whole game?

If you haven’t already, in your mind, go back to a day like this but imagine it on a TV screen and you are watching it. Close your eyes, breath deeply, and relax. In your mind, you are relaxed in a chair watching the latest episode of your life, remote in hand.  Let the movie play.

Imagine your worst day beginning now. Allow yourself to see each event step by step. You will notice with each event your frustration increases. As it increased, more mishaps occur. Pay close attention to your thoughts and feelings during each mishap. Now notice the point in which you decide the rest of your day will be like this.

Now that you have all the emotions back, I want you to take your remote and press rewind. Watch yourself as you are rewinding, your movements, facial expressions and body language. Now go ahead and laugh, because it is funny. Continue reading

How To Find and Dismantle Negative Beliefs

I have written about this before but I think this topic deserves repetition. The way we perceive the things around us is a direct reflection of our belief system. Our belief system was created by numerous events insisting on the same outcome.

What do I mean by that exactly? When similar things  happen repeatedly having the same outcome we believe it to be true. The same goes when someone hears the same thing repeated.

We then live our life following these beliefs but we don’t even know it. This is one of the hardest things I have had to overcome. Old crusty beliefs that were either passed on or that I bought into.

When I first got asked the question “What are some beliefs you hold that no longer serve you?” I shook my head. “What the hell are you talking about?” I needed it explained to me in bitesized pieces cause I just wasn’t getting it. Continue reading

How You Define ‘Hard’ Is What Makes It So

There is a quote I have seen and heard for many years and in fact I believe it began in the Bible. It says ‘I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy. I’m telling you it’s going to be worth it.’

Because this is my blog I am going to share my opinion. I think this quote is debatable.

How do we define what is easy? Easy is different for different people. If we are doing what we love to do, which is where the quote is relevant, is anything really hard?

I have found my frustrations are what make things hard. If I am doing menial things unrelated to what I love to do, things become hard. There are no roadblocks when you know you are on your path of self fulfillment.

In cases like this you just go with the flow with the knowingness you are doing what you need to do in order to achieve your desired results. Should something creep in your way, it is either there to redirect you or challenge you. Continue reading

An Unlikely Force: Your Brain Plus Energy

where that will go. Nowhere fast and furious. You will be caught in a tailspin of self centeredness and frustration that will spill over into every area in your life.

Trust yourself to know the difference and choose accordingly. With self trust you have the strength it takes to ‘not put up with things’ that don’t serve you well. Otherwise everyone is so worried about standing up for themselves may result in offending someone else.

Just imagine you are having a great day doing those things you love to do. Feel what that feels like. Right now, do it.

Ok, now you probably have a smile on your face and you feel calm and relaxed and confident. Notice things around you. Colors probably seem brighter and smells more fragrant. Notice your energy level. It is high. It doesn’t mean you are bouncing off the walls it could simply mean you have energy that allows you to keep doing what you are doing for as long as it takes. Continue reading
